I am all about the beach and sunshine!  My favorite destination would have to be Grand Turk.  It is always so relaxing and the water is beautiful there.  When we choose a cruise, we always try to find an itinerary with a stop at Grand Turk.

Anywhere in Europe, but especially France and Italy.  The history, food and wines in both of these countries are amazing. Great Britain, especially Scotland where my ancestry originated, and Greece run a close third and fourth on my list.

Pack and then take half of it out.  Use packing cubes to help you organize. You can wear clothes more than once.  Take old underwear and throw it away as you go to free up space in your suitcase for the things you buy. Learn to say excuse me, thank you, good morning and good evening in the language of the country you are visiting.

Cruising any river in Europe, especially during the Christmas Markets. There may be a more festive, enjoyable time to be had in a delightful environment at a leisurely pace, but I don't know where it is.

When traveling I absolutely MUST have...

Comfortable bedding and good coffee. A bad night's sleep on an uncomfortable mattress is a vacation destroyer. And, while we're at it, drink good coffee, not some washed out, almost clear hot water.  When traveling with someone else, pack half of your clothes in each others bag in case one of them gets lost. That way you will still have clothes to wear. (Ask me how I know to do this).
